OFA Testing is vital for breeders.

The American Pomsky Kennel Club highly suggests that our breeders have minimum testing of OFA patellas and hips (or Pennhip), in addition to Embark DNA.

As such, we are instituting a program to recognize and reward breeders that perform OFA tests on their dogs. Not only will you receive specialized badges that you can place on your website, you will be placed in a place of honor on the APKC website and you’ll receive discounts on registrations, based on those tiers.

APKC OFA Rewards will be in tiers.

TIER 1 (5% off all registrations (adult and litter):

All of your dogs have OFA patellas passed.

TIER 2 (10% off all registrations (adult and litter):

All of your dogs have OFA patellas, hips, elbows.

TIER 3 (25% off all registrations (adult and litter):

All of your dogs have OFA patellas, hips, elbows, cardiac, thyroid, eyes

TIER 4 (50% off all registrations (adult and litter):

All of your dogs are CHIC certified

To participate in this rewards program:

1) Breeders must list all dogs in their kennel

2) Breeders must supply the OFA registration number for each dog

3) Breeders must not use a “failed” dog in their breeding program
