Positions listed with a “🐾” indicate these positions can be held by pet owners and is not limited to breeders only.

Support Roles:

Support Staff to the Director of Events and Shows (Will have slow and busy times). This team will help organize, facilitate, and run the national and localized shows. 🐾

Support Staff to the Director of Marketing (2-3hrs/week). This team will help administer and update the social media platforms that the APKC® controls. This would include responding to comments, removing spam, creating graphics for merchandise, and more. 🐾

Support Staff to the Director of Registration (2-3hrs/week). This team needs a key eye for detail. It will include verification of information included on dog registrations, verifying accuracy, and maintaining the database.  Skills needed are primarily Google drive and Google sheets.🐾

Volunteers:

There are other basic administrative duties that we may need additional assistance with. If you would like to volunteer but your time is extremely limited (1-2 hours a month), please let us know. 🐾


It's crucial to emphasize that all positions within our organization are volunteer-based, given our status as a 501(c)4. We want to make it clear that no monetary compensation is offered for these roles. Instead, our team members generously contribute their time and expertise voluntarily to support and advance our mission to continue to make Pomskies an incredible dog breed and family pet.

NOTE: You should receive a basic confirmation when applying (JotForm). We are accepting applications through February 18th and then will review, ask additional questions, have conversations with all of the applicants, etc. The new roles will be effective after the annual board meeting in late March.
